Very friendly, clean rooms and the food comes highly recommended!

Penultimate day before lockdown. Visited on bike tour. Very good food. Attentive and very friendly staff.

The visit on Sunday lunchtime was a little time travel, charm and furnishings are not necessarily up to date, but everything is clean and in good condition. On the menu there are a few dishes that are rather courageous for this setting, otherwise traditional country cuisine, v. a. Roast meat. Because it was Sunday, there was soup and a small dessert automatically. The team was very friendly, nice and quick.

We come specially from Seligenstadt to eat here, as there is a very good lunch, our favorite is the Sauerbraten, the best far and wide! The waiters are always very friendly and accommodating. We like to come here!

The bike tour, along the Main to Stockstadt, is always very popular with our group of 10-12 people. Lunch is in the "Golden Angel". Very tasty and inexpensive. Waitresses very nice and helpful. Always worth a visit!

The restaurant and the hotel rooms are not in the same building, not even on the same street. You have to walk a couple of minutes to get from one to the other. This is not a big problem, but it can be inconvenient during bad weather. Also the parking spots are not in front of the restaurant where you can also check in, but in front of the hotel rooms, which address is not shown online, so you can't find it before your arrival. But that was everything on the "con" side, everything else was good. Nice restaurant with really good food (dinner and breakfast) and the room was nice, clean and quiet. Totally recommended

Excellent hotel, great bier garden, friendly staff. Knocked one star off for bedding: worn sheets, polyester duvet covers. Great breakfast, very spacious rooms.

We go for 3 years already and have always been very satisfied, Top

4 stars for the hotel. Clean, modern, well equipped and spacy rooms for low prices. Please know that during the afternoon the hotel is closed so checking in can be done from 17:00 hrs or later. Also many rooms are located at different locations, all a 2 minute walk from the main building. The breakfast is really good. 2 stars for the restaurant since the food served isn't good at all. It's advised to eat somewhere else.
